Try giving Alessa bigger chunky foods. Like giver her a 1/2 of a really mushy banana or cut a ripe pear in to 1/4th and give her a piece of that. If you give her piece of food about 1" wide...

It seems like its either one or the other. Sawyer can pick up those puffs like a champ, but that darn sippy cup isn't going well. Like others he turns it upside down, or just chews on it. Right...

Power of the post - shortly after she started self feeding. SHe will grab a fistful of puffs and get one or two in her mouth and the rest on the floor...but it's a start! LOL...As for the choking...
